Not something we see too much of and a good, interesting job to do. Not as difficult to play on as you may think either; although it feels a little strange at first, as your fingers have no contact with the fingerboard whatsoever.

I wish I'd taken more pictures of the work in progress! At this point I was somewhat aprehensive as to how the finished article would play - would your fingers sink into the board like into a sponge? would intonation on chords be impossible? ...<br />
Absolutely not so in fact. There's no sensation of sinking into the board at all, and you've got to press very hard to get any sort of bend in the note.
It feels a little strange at first but once you are used to it, it's great! With no fingerboard resistance at all, the guitar is great for hammer ons and the widdly diddly stuff especially.
